@ElbieKay: You'll likely get there. Nursing gets less painful once their mouth grows. Fingers crossed it is soon for you!

Bonus: He ate 3.75oz, and I just pumped 6.75oz. I have been having supply issues and started dipping into my freezer stash so this is a big relief! (I pump/bottle feed at night to give myself a nursing break due to pain issues. I really hate pumping and wish I could just nurse.)

Isn't it amazing how such a short period of sleep can feel so amazing when you have gotten use to so much less! Last night my 3 month old nursed almost every hour, tonight I got 4 hours in a row and it felt awesome! Hoping he gives me another 4 hour stretch :)

My 5-week just woke up. He last ate 5.5 hours ago, and we fell asleep 4 hours ago, around 11pm. What a nice stretch!

Unfortunately, he was super fussy at 10:30 when I was really tired, and the only way I could get him to chill out was to let him sleep on my chest. So, he only gets a B+ for his performance, but I slept really well so I will take it!
