It's fine when you never have the extra channels, but to have them taken away? We used to share cable with my landlord and had all the channels, movie, premium, everything. Now we have our own and didn't want to pay up for all that-- though of course we needed HBO for Game of Thrones. But how will we watch Homeland?? I just wanted the most basic package, which came with ~20 channels or so. But they kept giving me ~70 channels and didn't raise the price, so I went with it. Yesterday, I got a letter that was basically a big "whoops, we've been giving you something you aren't paying for" and I'm being cut off. They must have done an audit recently. At least they didn't send a bill along with the whoops letter :) Goodbye extra channels, I'll miss you!!
