Ugh, I can't wait until the day I can throw that pump out a window. I WOH and need to pump 5x every weekday, I still usually pump 2-3x on weekend days too, since he doesn't nurse as often as I would pump and my supply will dip.

My excess lipase issue resolved when my over supply problem was fixed. It might be worth checking now and again to see if the excess lipase resolves itself in the next few weeks.

@mrskc: DH was going crazy because DD stopped taking bottles from him (I WOH 3 days/week for 4 hours). Finally he tasted the milk and realized it was just plain nasty...we'll have to use milk as fresh as possible, and hopefully avoid the hassle of scalding it.

@matador84: I usually look forward to the weekends with no pumping, but we're visiting my parents. They're going to watch LO when we go out to celebrate my birthday/Valentine's Day, so I have to pump enough milk for at least a feeding.

yay! I hate pumping. I have excess lipase in my milk too, but LO is still willing to drink it even though it tastes funny.

...And I haven't pumped. Not once! This is the first time since DD was born that I went ONE WHOLE ENTIRE DAY without pumping!

I've been fighting oversupply since DD was born and it's finally started to calm down. Plus we realized recently that my milk is high in lipase, so there's really no point in me adding to my freezer stash when I'm home most of the time and the extra milk will taste bad anyway.

Free at last, free at last!!
