(Because this dog had been barking at our fence non-stop for 20 minutes... and does that every.single.day). My husband is probably THE healthiest person I know but he has high cholesterol and is going to be on Crestor for the rest of his life. It pisses him off because we eat healthy, he exercises, has a physical job. But it's just not enough to lower his cholesterol.<br /> The whole family got checked out after my BIL passed away and they are all on cholesterol medicine now.</p> <p>Make sure to keep a close eye on yours and your kids. My dad has been on cholesterol medication for 25 years - it's moreso hereditary than because of his life choices. He's been in great shape all of his life, and I always looked at him to be so healthy that this really took us by surprise. It was a very sobering experience for all of us and he now knows he has to watch his health closely now. </p> <p>@artbee: Oh my! You poor thing! You really have had a rough month. Hope your family stays healthy!</p> <p>I've had a pretty rough month, everything always seems to happen at once! My husband's best friend's mom passed away pretty suddenly from cancer (they only found out she had it 2 weeks earlier) so we have that funeral today, my grandma is in hospice, my MIL was diagnosed with breast cancer (supposed to be easily treatable with surgery but still scary), and I have surgery coming up for my migraines. Hope your family is recoverign well Mine has been a nightmare too you aren't alone! Posted about it elsewhere buy was admitted to the hospital on wed for preterm labor! At 30w 3 days was contracting and 1.5 cm dilated and 50% effaced! Still in hospital and hoping to get discharged later today (on bedrest). If he hadn't gone to get his colonoscopy, they wouldn't have found it in time and he would have likely died of a heart attack any day. </p> <p>Makes me realize how precious life is and how thankful I am to have more time with him. </p> <p>Anyone else have a week from hell? </p>
