I hadn't gotten to sleep until 2:30 am, so it was a brutal wakeup.</p> <p>I prepared Charlie his morning bottle of warm milk, and brought it to his nursery. I was so tired that I just lay on the floor of his room and tried to sneak in an extra five minutes of sleep while he took his bottle. We were both lying on the floor, as I shamelessly draped my arm over him so that if he tried to escape I woudl wake up.</p> <p>He seemed to be ok with this setup, so I gratefully told him: "Thanks Charlie, you are the best." He took the bottle out of his mouth and said, "Daddy, you are the best EVER!"</p> <p>I didn't even know he knew the word "ever"! In fact, I've never heard him say it before... it was a pretty epic moment of awesomeness. I was floating on cloud nine! About ten seconds after he said it though, I had fallen asleep again.</p> <p>Anyway, it's official: I am the Best Ever! Moments like that can take a brutal morning wakeup, and turn them into the best morning ever. Thanks Charlie!!</p> <p>Did your LO ever do anything to lift your spirits when you desperately needed it?
