She only had 4 eggs, they implanted 2.... and she's pregnant with triplets! Saturday I go in for egg retrieval (kinda nervous about that). The doctor is hoping to get 18 eggs! At the same time, DH gets to have a play date with some tupperware. We'll mix em up, screen, and then the top two embryos will be implanted in our surrogate next Thursday. It's very sci fi - we can gender select, so we've asked for one boy and one girl. The rest will be frozen. 10 days from then we'll blood test, and 2 weeks after that (if the test is positive) we'll check for a heartbeat. I have to say, the injections weren't nearly as bad as I worried they'd be. However, my tummy is so big right now that none of my jeans button up. For those of you who have done egg retrieval, any tips? I'm trying to stay hydrated and rest up. Eeep! Here we go!
