@Amorini: yeah the padded section of the bra is usually gel/air but it is built into the bra.

@bakingdoodle: A bra for $3.50? What am I missing?!

@josina: @bakingdoodle: I’ll have to look up these brands. Never heard of them!

@caitcat: Thanks for these links!! I feel your pain.

@Shantuck: I could see that with Betsy Johnson since the clothes seem to fit slim. I’ll have to look into Third Love. Unfortunately I am so far away from Nordies - miss it. That was my go-to for underthings but I have since found their online service to be lackluster.

Getting caught up!! I went to Aerie and got sized (uncertain if she knew what she was doing) as a 32A. I didn’t find most of the bras had enough padding, like some of you have said. I got the most padded one called Real Power. Meh, for all that, you could just barely make out that I have boobs in my looser shirt today. The bra is very pretty and that counts for something!

@Kaohinani: Awesome. Thanks for asking for me. I like girly stuff so maybe it’s for me!?

@Mamaof2: Let me know!

@2littlepumpkins: Oh you’re so right about the extra weight. It does not go to any flattering place whatsoever. My butt is now a pancake, too.

@Mama Bird: Those looked nice! I saw one option for the flat-chested and lots of watermelons!

@dolphin: Solidarity, sister!

@josina: I can rarely find my size at VS stores. Maybe better to order online?

@Mrsbells: I forgot about that one. Is that the one that has a gel insert?

@bakingdoodle: You and me both with chicken cutlets! Yeah, my new Aerie bra is the most padded one they sell and it’s just barely making an “effect.”

I have the same issue and I went to Nordstrom for a fitting. I actually found a Betsy Johnson bra that I really like from that fitting that I probably wouldn't have tried on if not for the consultant. I've also been intrigued by the Third Love bras I see all over the internet at well since they seem to come in some unusual sizes.

I wear a 30A or 32AA - and have struggled to really find anything that fits after having kids. I recently ordered some of each of these and they fit okay - with more washes, I'm noticing the Calvin Klein one gaps more it did at first. I tried some bras at Aerie that fit well, but weren't as padded as I was looking for.

Here are the two I've had some luck with:

https://www.wacoal-america.com/b-splendid-wire-free-push-up-bra-wacoal-952255-p.html

https://www.calvinklein.us/en/womens-clothing/womens-bras/calvin-klein-form-push-up-bra-52264200-082

A friend with similar struggles swears by this site - I haven't gotten around to checking it out much, but thought I'd pass it along in case it helps someone else: https://www.thelittlebracompany.com/

@bakingdoodle: The aerie bras I have (looks like they changed their styles though) fit well, but aren't padded enough for sure. And the ones that are padded that I've tried in the past, the cup was too big.
Same for Lily of France! Sad that they don't have them anymore!
Where do you buy the primark bras? I just see UK locations.

after reading this thread, I went on aerie to look for bras... and they don't look padded enough for me. I need that chicken cutlets padding type... VS never looked right on me... it's TOO padded or maybe I don't know which style/model number I need (at aerie, VS)?
I used to wear VS pink style (and it was padded) but after my 2nd kid, it didn't feel right. I hate the gap: I used to like lily of France bras... but they don't seem to be carried anymore at JC penney. I am wearing Primark bras. Well padded (only one model I like ) and it's a steal at $3.50

I've been wanting to start a post just like this! I wear bras from Aerie right now but would like something with more padding (in the past the push-ups have never fit right).
Didn't even realize VS carried AA bras so I'll check them out.

I asked my sister about Pepper just for you since I was on the phone with her tonight. She has one. She has mixed feelings about it. She says it fits nicely with no gapping. She doesn't like the style (* she is really "no frills" ... even her Vicky's are pushups from the sporty pink collection) and it slides up in the back (IDK what this means). I hope this relatively helpful.

@Amorini: no advice. I like Calvin Klein for it but I don't own anything really padded from that brand so can't speak to that. But just commiserating. My last baby who I only bf two months caused my boobs to shrink smaller than ever. It doesn't even matter if I gain weight, at least not within a few pounds. So frustrating.

I really love Aerie as well, they have a lot of sizes online and returns are easy. Thirdlove also has a good selection of smaller sizes, and I love the bra I ended up getting, but I did have troubles with their customer service.

Hi! Fellow member (except while pregnant lol). I have had many, many tearful dressing room experiences trying desperately to find an adult bra that fits me in AA or even A.
Shopping online at Aerie has saved my sanity and made me feel beautiful at my typical small size. They have a lot of choices and styles in smaller cups that are flattering and offer a lot of variety. Underwire, bralettes, racerback, strapless, everything. Definitely recommended :)

While I do not have this particular issue, my sister does. Where I am short, petite, and hourglass; she is tall, lean, and what she calls "a carpenter's dream." I digress. She swears by bras by Aerie for comfort and Victoria's Secret for "fullness" and design. She also wears something she calls "chicken cutlets" (silicone falsies to stuff in bras or shapewear) when she has to dress up ... which is rare because she is a police officer who works 24-7.
Also, one suggestion is to strengthen the pectorals muscles in order to give your bust line a natural lift and build muscle under the breast tissue. Exercises that may aid in this include: chest presses, bench presses, chest flys, pushups (* changing your arm position will dictate whether you feel it more in the biceps & triceps, shoulders, or pectorals), dips, dumbbell pullovers, plank rotations, and lat (latissimus dorsi) pulldown.

Hey! We had a post not long ago about plastic surgery and some of us mentioned our post-weaning natural boob reductions. Hoping that the Itty Bitty Titty Committee can convene to help a fellow member out. :wink:

I was an A before so I am surely a AA now. I would like to figure out if I can live with these boobs, but I need some bra help. I’m tall and thin especially on top. I used to have a long distance runner-body but I’m a bit pear-shaped especially because of the boob situation. Right now I’m bashful to even look at myself in the mirror because I look like a 12 year-old so I’m a little down on myself. :meh: Admittedly I have been focused elsewhere than my body since DS was born, but I’d like to see if taking care of my whole body helps me feel better about my post-pregnancy shape. I am hoping new bras and exercise/toning might make these boobs/body feel more proportioned. I literally just need a bra so I don’t have full-time headlights and so that I fit my clothes better. I have heard Target and mentioned, but just looking for any brand names, specific bras or any other advice!
