My OBGYN had us wait one dull cycle after removal for TTC (to make dating a pregnancy easier). I got pregnant the next cycle, miscarried early, and got pregnant again about 2 weeks after the miscarriage. I'm 30 weeks with this baby now. Kind of a whirlwind. We used condoms for several months after I got the IUD out, but got pregnant first time we didn't use protection after that. Had it removed and got pregnant on my second cycle. I will say that charting and using OPKs definitely helped. I have the Skyla IUD and will likely get it removed at my next exam which is within a month or so. Did anybody have any issues trying after their IUD was removed? (We struggled with infertility to get pregnant with DS but we'll get to that point when we have to), For now I'm just curious as to how long it took you to get that BFP after the IUD was removed. Thanks! </p>
