I did! Our second IUI was successful. We used Follistim and I didn't have any side effects either. I did get a few bruises from the shots but they weren't too bad. It is a lot of monitoring. I went in every other day for almost 2 weeks. What I liked is that the RE could adjust my dosage based on how my follicles were developing.

Good luck! I really hope this works for you!

@mrswin: They retested me on Saturday (cd2) and it was at 10.9 At that point my doctor decided it wasn't worth trying the clomid because it likely wouldn't work with my FSH being high. I was hoping she'd let me still try this month with the clomid rather than waste a month but some of my records/previous labs didn't come through in time and she recommended against it anyway. So we will just keep trying naturally this month and move to the injectables next month. Maybe I will get a Christmas BFP. :)

@travellingbee: I don't have any experience because we only did IUI's with Femera (no success) before moving onto IVF, but I wanted to wish you good luck! Did they retest your FSH already? You are moving right along

Yes :) We did several rounds of clomid plus IUIs that failed (one resulted in an ectopic pregnancy). Did one round of follistim + Ovidrel + IUI and found out I was pregnant one year ago Nov 1. I didn't have any real side effects either with the Follistom - unlike Clomid which gave me mood swings. My stomach was a little bruised from the daily injections but it wasn't that bad. Good luck to you!! :goodluck: :goodluck:

Looks like we are going to skip the clomid this cycle and go straight to injectables and IUI next. I have suspected DOR with borderline-high FSH and low AMH. Anyone have success going this route? Needing to hear something positive!!!
