Our second IUI was successful. We used Follistim and I didn't have any side effects either. I did get a few bruises from the shots but they weren't too bad. It is a lot of monitoring. I went in every other day for almost 2 weeks. What I liked is that the RE could adjust my dosage based on how my follicles were developing. </p> <p>Good luck! I was hoping she'd let me still try this month with the clomid rather than waste a month but some of my records/previous labs didn't come through in time and she recommended against it anyway. So we will just keep trying naturally this month and move to the injectables next month. Did one round of follistim + Ovidrel + IUI and found out I was pregnant one year ago Nov 1. I didn't have any real side effects either with the Follistom - unlike Clomid which gave me mood swings. My stomach was a little bruised from the daily injections but it wasn't that bad. I have suspected DOR with borderline-high FSH and low AMH. Anyone have success going this route? Needing to hear something positive!!! </p>
