Progesterone in the TWW.</p> <p>I've done three of those, one combined with an IUI. None have worked.</p> <p>My diagnosis while doing those was unexplained. Now I've had a lap. I will do another cycle with a higher dosage of Follistim.</p> <p>Shots are not awful. The worse part is the very first time and getting over the mental hurdle of doing it. The needle is small. No problem. If you can let your medicine sit out for a little bit (like 15 min or so), it helps to reduce the sting. Injection site for trigger shot can be tender for a day or two. And when I'm about to ovulate, I have an uncomfortable fullness, but it doesn't stop me from living life. </p> <p>How to get through the TWW? You just do b/c you have to. I have PCOS so we had to keep the dosage really low so I wouldn't develop too many follicles for an IUI. Ultimately we couldn't find a dose that worked, so I cancelled the cycle, moved on to IVF and got a BFP on our first fresh cycle. Lots of injections with IVF (menopur, follistim, trigger shot, and something else that I'm can remember the name of) so although I can't help with the IUI part, I can tell you that the injections are not bad at all once you get over the weirdness of it al. My side effects were really limited to some tummy bruising at the injection side and some headaches / hotness towards the end of the cycle. I actually had less of a reaction to the injections that I did to clomid, which made me straight up miserable.
