Update! No bloodwork today. IUI is scheduled for Monday morning, triggering Saturday night. I have two follicles measuring at 16. They were also able to find four fibroids, not two, all on the outside. FX!

So exciting! Does your office do blood work with your ultrasounds? I was super nervous about the trigger (total needle phob) but it was easy. It's the tiniest needle.

We were also on board with trying 3 IUIs. After the failed 3rd one, I have no desire to try another. I'm currently on a natural cycle w/o meds. Then we will do 2-3 medicated cycles w/ Femara before moving to IVF sometime in July or August.

Sending you so much :goodluck: !! I hope this works for you!!

@Mrs Lavender: You're so sweet to ask! I'm hanging in there. I feel so thrown off because I'm not temping or using OPKs or anything, so I went from doing everything to nothing.

I ended up doing the femara cds 2-6 instead of 3-7. The day I called to tell them I was starting my period, it actually turned out to be spotting that didn't go into full AF until the next day, so they moved me to cd 2-6. On day 2 of the pills, I was in a horribly cranky mood that I couldn't seem to shake, and I wonder if that was from the pills. But otherwise I had no side effects.

Today is cd 9, and I go tomorrow for my first u/s to see how my follicles look and determine when I should trigger (also to be trained on how to trigger). I'm really curious to see how things are in there.

Suuuuuper hoping it works. We've talked and are on board with trying three IUIs, but after that, I don't know. How are you?

Hey @Mrs Lavender! I just found out yesterday that I'll be joining you in IUI land.

How long have you been TTC? On and off since 2016

Where are you in your IUI cycle? Expecting AF the week of the 19th, and will begin the cycle monitoring then.

How many IUIs will this be? My first

Diagnosis? Unexplained infertility, symptoms of endo for me. DH's numbers came back good (can't recall the actual numbers right now). I had a borderline low follicle count at my last ultrasound (5 per ovary). HSG showed my tubes are clear with a mystery something at the top of the uterus (possible second uterine fibroid; dr will be monitoring this throughout the cycle to try to see what it might be). My hormone levels are within normal ranges, didn't ask for specifics. OPKS and temps are showing I ovulate.

Medications? Letrozole 5mg for cycle days 3-7 and trigger shot

Anything to add? I'm still feeling very new to the IUI world and trying to learn everything about it. I think DH was shocked by the idea of giving myself a shot, but I had already kind of resigned myself to it, though I'm sure that closer to the day of I'll be plenty stressed about it. Right now I'm so worried about messing up the days I'm supposed to do things on, and worried that perhaps our unexplained diagnosis means there's something else going on that we aren't aware of and what that might mean. I'm also curious to see if we learn more about the mysterious something at the top of my uterus. The dr said she could do a procedure where she inserts a catheter and blows air into the uterus to get a better view of it, but she wanted to do that after watching how it behaves over the course of a medicated cycle.

I've been wanting to see if we could get another IUI thread started, since the last one was from a couple years back.

Who's with me!?

How long have you been TTC?
Where are you in your IUI cycle?
How many IUIs will this be?
Diagnosis?
Medications?
Anything to add?

How long have you been TTC? 19 months
Where are you in your IUI cycle? AF showed today. Baseline is 1/22, Monday.
How many IUIs will this be? #2
Diagnosis? PCOS, LPD, Hypothyroid and MFI
Medications? 2.5mg Letrozole, Ovidrel and Progesterone suppositories
Anything to add? Really hoping this is it. We have decided to try a total of 3 IUIs then move onto IVF if no bfp. This terrifies me.
