They are cute. Personally, I would go with a Stride Rite or a high quality shoe when your LO is walking.

They're really cute. I'd get them in a size up. Those would fit DD now and she's nowhere near running. Save the pretty stuff for when she's older, so that way it'll actually get some wear, at least that's what I've learned so far.

I'd get a size 8.

I dunno, they're cute, but knowing what I know about my own feet and developing children's feet, those sandals would be too "iffy" for me to invest in unless my child could try them on and I could see if the shoes fit properly.

Those are so cute, but my DD wouldn't have been willing to wear shoes like that until size 8, when she was around 3 yrs old... Before that, comfort was key! After that she became more interested in style. I would size up a lot, or pick something else.

They're gorgeous!! I wanna get a pair for L! :) my personal experience is that you'd want sturdier shoes that stay on the feet better for when they first start walking. I think sandals may be a little difficult during that stage. I would personally exchange for a size 6 :)

They are cute but my Mommy friends with older babies told me that making sure their walking develops properly means investing in great shoes. So perhaps they won't get a lot of wear since you'll want to be putting K in StrideRite type of shoes when she is walking? I don't really know myself and would also like to hear from Moms of walkers!

I went to exchange a couple of gifts K will not get around to wearing before she outgrows them and among some clothes, I also picked up a pair of these gold leather sandals.

http://www.janieandjack.com/shop/dept_item.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524443472744&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374303321049&bmUID=1369806621589&productSizeSelected=0

They are so cute and I bought them in a size 5 hoping they'll fit when she has been walking for a bit. Season is not a factor for us.

But since it's actually real leather, it seems a little stiff (rubber sole though). I'm wondering if this style and J&J sandals are comfortable enough for LOs to wear? They also had a pair of 6 and 8, so maybe I should size up even more and wait until she is a better walker? I don't mind saving good quality items like this and I know I'll still like the style. But if they're too uncomfortable, I don't want to waste almost $40 on them (even on sale, the SA called them "a splurge"). Anyone have experience with Janie & Jack sandals and shoes?

Keep or Exchange?
