I have a really good friend that's a amateur photographer and I might see if my husband would be up to getting some outdoor fall pics. Maybe after we move into the new house. But my feeling is, it's really important to have the photographic evidence of how tiny LO once was. Even if it isn't a beautifully executed photo with great lighting and composition, as long as you have a bunch of photos from your own camera, you can still look back and marvel at how tiny M was. I'm being the "photographer" for some friends this month for Christmas cards - I'd totally do the same for you if you were closer!</p> <p>Also, I know you mentioned Craigslist, art school, etc, but there are a lot of photographers who are just starting out and will do a shoot for free just to start a portfolio. We have gone there and they usually don't charge a sitting fee. You can get a small package of like three sheets of one pose for like $15. They aren't digital but they are a good keepsake. Jealousy is not becoming but I can't help it.<br /> We couldn't afford maternity pictures, nor newborn photos.
