I'm actually envious of you working moms! I never had a career I could call my own, and I'm not bringing home any bacon and contributing to the household income, so money is tight! I also envy all the adult interaction you have, and that you ladies will get to advance in your careers!

I'm jealous of working moms. :) I actually miss working and on days when both of my boys need me left and right I just want to pull all of my hair out and scream. :P But there are more good days than bad so I'm not really complaining. Don't you wish we could alternate between staying home and working? How cool would it be if companies allowed that. Like work 6 months and take 6 months off to hang out with your family? Or something like that! :)

My sisters are both single so no jealousy..
I think a few family members are jealous of the fact that I'm happily married, have a baby and one on the way and get to SAH.
I don't brag about it and everyone knows how thankful I am for my situation!

Yes! With my SIL as well actually. I actually let it get to the point that I can't stand to be around her anymore. Well that has a lot to do with how braggy she is.

But her husband makes what DH makes, they have twice as many bills and more expensive living needs, they have a DD, a new car, SIL goes shopping literally every day since she is a SAHM and DH and I can't even afford a car payment. They have two car payments. I just can't figure out mathematically how that works and it makes me so fuming mad/jealous because I would give ANYTHING to be a SAHM and she takes it for granted and is sooo so braggy.

I can commiserate with all y'all. I'm jealous of those who have 52 weeks of maternity leave and of my friends who are currently pregnant or took them no time at all to get pregnant. Sigh.

@alayaya: This is exactly what I was going to say! I feel like every time I log into Facebook, another person or two is announcing either their pregnancy or the arrival of a LO... It stinks! I want to be that person so badly, but it will probably be a while for me. So (and I know this is SO mean), I'm focusing on living it up while they are at home pregnant or with a newborn--traveling, going out, etc... I guess it helps a little :/

Jealousy is a big thing for me right now. I've wanted a child for so long that every time I go on facebook and see my friends and their kids I get very jealous.

I have to just keep remembering that when I have my own baby, their kids will be older... maybe they will feel jealous of me because they miss when their kid was so little...

I have quite a few friends who do not work and have child care so they are free all day. They tell me that I should join them at tennis or Crossfit or whatever and I'm like um, I can't go during the day silly people!

I think its natural to feel jealous when someone you know has something you want. I do feel jealous of my friends who live outside US and get long maternity leaves and they upload lots of pictures of themselves enjoying their leave with their baby.

Do you ever feel jealous of your siblings and their families? I know everyone's situation is different but right now I am so jealous of my sister-in-law. She stays home with my nephew and sends us videos and pictures of what they have been doing almost daily.

Today I got a video of my nephew and maybe 7 of his closest "baby friends" at their condo dressed up for halloween. It was so cute, but also made me sad. I know I won't ever have a big group of mommy friends with babies around the same age. There just aren't mom groups around here that are geared towards working moms, they're all for sah moms (and man are they exclusive about that!!)

It just made me kind of sad and jealous. Do you have these moments?
