I love the jeans at Polarn (http://www.polarnopyretusa.com/) - they run very long and skinny, and they have lots of different styles (skinny, regular, and different washes). All have adjustable waists.

@hilsy85: I've done girls a few times too, maddening that the girls sizes are already smaller at that age!

We have great luck with crazy 8's or gap skinny jeans. My boys are very skinny.

@Eminthevalley: I have had GREAT luck with Gap skinny jeans from the girls' section! I buy his real size (so he's almost 4, I would buy a 4T)--they have an adjustable waistband and the cut is just much slimmer and fits him much better. Their basic skinny jeans are also not feminine or decorated at all.

I found old navy runs too wide for my girl who is 3 and in the height range for 3T and weight range for 12-18 months. Gap skinny jeans fit her well, using the adjustable waist. Crewcut jeans fit well too, and I find them for cheap on ebay. I would suggest trying the girls section for pants, they are cut much slimmer.

Following! My girl is 4 and needs 5t pants but they are way too big at the waist even on the last slit for the elastic. Good thing it's summer and her leggings can be a bit highwater-y.

I was just at Old Navy and they do have an adjustable waist skinny jean. My son is 3.5, 3t length and 12 month waist. I literally just dress him in short sweat pants with elastic ends do it looks slightly appropriate 😭. I was walking out thinking that I need to learn to sew...

Where do you get jeans for your tall & skinny boys? One of mine is 3.5, the height of a 4T-5 but waist more like 2T-3T. Several people have recommended Old Navy in the past but I don't see the drawstring jeans anymore. Tried Children's Place adjustable but even those were at least two inches too big in the waist. Last year I just didn't buy jeans at all since they have better luck with sweats...but this year they (twins) are going to preschool so I'd like some jeans/cargos/non-sweat pants.
