When I first heard about it, I wasn't sure what to think but now with more women coming forward, and personal statements people have made about him, I definitely think he's guilty.</p> <p>But, honestly, my gut instinct was that a company like CBC will not fire someone for what they do in their private time unless there's more to it. And even if they are the reason, there is just no way to know if it's true or not. Honestly there's just no point in debating it, and the internet discussions on the matter kind of bother me when people declare whether it did or didn't happen, because unless you were there at the time of the incident, you just have no way of knowing. I struggle to not automatically assume he is lying, because realistically there's a LOT more people who lie when they are guilty of sexual assault than there are people who falsely accuse others of sexual assault. But there's exceptions on both sides, and no way to tell if this is one or not.</p> <p>ETA: Also, while reading the articles I see him insist that he showed CBC proof that the acts were consensual.
