We have a stroller that also has the bassinet, given our lifestyle of walking a lot and only using the car on weekends, it was necessary to have air filled wheels with good suspension. We used the bassinet for about 8 months, I really prefer the babes to be fully reclined as opposed to long periods of time in the car seat.

The JJCole Broadway looks really wide when folded, so if you're going to be doing any air travel, I would check to see if it could be put on the scanner belt and if it is considered light enough to be gate checked. Our everyday stroller is too big to bring with us when we travel, so we had to get an different travel stroller too, so you may want to think about that.

I just saw a JJCole ad on the side so I clicked! We actually didn't buy a stroller for LO until a month ago (got the Bob Revolution so I could start running/walking with her).
For the first 5-6 months we just got one of those universal strollers that we could snap our infant car seat into. Worked well and it was like $60.
We got a Maclaren Volo (umbrella stroller) as a gift, so we use that now for every day outings to the mall.
I'm not sure if an expensive stroller is worth it honestly.

In my boredom, I've been looking at baby gear online and LOVE the JJ Cole Broadway stroller. However, I am wondering, is it worth the extra money? The Monroe is much cheaper. Does anyone have either of them?
