While I wouldn't have to worry about that principals perception of me, I would be working at a school 10 mins down the road and they talk. I guess it's just bad practice to do that. </p> <p>During my last search, I interviewed at a school and was offered a position. I said something along the lines of "I think this school would be a great fit for me however I am still early in the process and will be looking for something closer to my house. I would like to accept conditionally.".....and that principal actually called the school I really wanted to work at and got me the job there. Now that the school year has come to an end, schools are starting to set up interviews. I have an interview tomorrow at my 'last choice' of schools I applied to and have not heard from any of the others, yet....(the hiring window JUST opened this week).</p> <p>SO, my question is, what do I do if I get a job offer? (this has happened at every teacher interview I've gone on...I know this isn't the norm in other fields but I guess it is in teaching?).</p> <p>I would much rather work at the interview school than my current school but I'm afraid that if I accept, my top choices will contact me and I'd much rather be there. </p> <p>***also, all of my other application are 'in process', meaning I am still in the running and the positions haven't been filled...AKA the principals at that school are busy and haven't started the hiring process. </p> <p>So yeah, what would you do if you were offered the position tomorrow? (I'm just trying to be prepared if it happens, I'm really not that overly confident, promise :wink: ) </p>
