@mrstilly: Thanks! I'd forgot that Joovy makes a jogging stroller. We already bought a lightweight umbrella stroller so that will be our every day stroller.

But dangggg my husband might rethink the jogging stroller when he sees the prices!

Also, if I could go back, I would have bought a snugride carseat and used our jogger for everything. It is handy to only have one stroller, especially since we travel a lot and had to debate which stroller to bring. We had a travel system and the carseat wouldnt work with our jogger (one of the few that didn't) so if we wanted to be able to keep DS asleep transferring from the car to stroller, we had to leave the jogger at home. Just an FYI to check car seat compatibility if you only want 1 stroller or want.to travel often with the jogger.

The city mini is not a jogger, but Baby Jogger makes the Summit XC and the FIT which are joggers. They are more pricey though. BOB also makes several joggers which are popular too. If you are looking for something less expensive, Joovy makes a jogger, the Zoom. Schwinn make the tourismo which is another jogger that is less expensive and has good reviews.

I personally wanted to stay away from Baby trend and Jeep because they had less positive reviews. I didn't think they were as well made either. We ended up buying the Baby Jogger Summit which we love.

I started running with DS at 3 months but we got clearance from our pediatrician. DS was in the 90% for height and weight and had good head control, so our Dr gave the ok on smooth surfaces (paved trails only). Our jogger has a warning that says to wait until LO is 8 months but I think 6 months is typical for pediatricians to give the ok.

My husband goes running often and it never occurred to me that he might want to take our LO with. He expressed interest the other night.

So....what are your recommendations for a good & affordable jogging stroller?
I know the baby jogger city mini is obvs a popular one. But it's pretty $$$$z I know some ladies have scored deals on Craigslist? How good of a deal? Just wondering realistically how cheap I can get it for?

I think Jeep makes one too?

Any others? When is the youngest you would put them in there to go jogging with?

Thanks!
