If you have the budget get the Thule. It’s the absolute best. I put a huge number of miles on our fixed wheel single BOB when I worked part time and it was totally fine. We have a double with a swivel wheel which handles much more easily (but oof my kids are heavy now). I recently tried a Thule and there is no comparison to either BOB. It’s SO light and easy to handle.

If you’re sticking with the BOB, I keep one hand on the stroller and the other free, and just switch hands if it gets tired. You pop it up to turn (like pop a wheelie).

We have the Thule and it is awesome. I’ve run with both a bob and the Thule and vastly prefer the Thule. The fold is also far superior as well. The canopy is great, doesn’t sag. The snack tray is also one of the best out there. It is the Thule urban glide.
So as far as running with a fixed wheel (either a swivel wheel locked or a true fixed) it is annoying but is way more stable. I think it totally depends on where you run. If there are a ton of turns, it’s not fun. You have to pop a wheelie and guide the stroller around the turn and the set the wheel down while running. But running with a swivel wheel unlocked isn’t the best either. At slow speeds and smooth surfaces, it’s fine. But I’ve found on any uneven pavement or hitting a bump, the wheel can jump and that’s when the stroller can flip. Any of them will do this at speed with the whee unlocked. So there is that element to consider. But hands down, buy something with a lockable swivel wheel. It is SO much more versatile. Bobs are on the very of some recall weirdness; I don’t know if I’d want to give my money to them knowing they should recall some strollers.

We have the Joovy and I love it! It is so smooth and turns easily with one hand. DS is so comfortable in it too. He is almost 2.5, and 99 percentile for both height and weight. There is plenty of room for him for another couple of years.

We bought a used fixed-wheel BOB jogging stroller.
One of the back wheels is bent, so it needs to be replaced.

My husband doesn't want to use it because he doesn't like running with the fixed wheel - we don't have any straight line streets or trails (New Engand).
I haven't run with it yet, so i'm not sure.

I have two questions:
1) Does anyone have a video demonstrating how to run with a fixed wheel stroller? I cannot find one on youtube or google!! We would either be running on local streets (so making more than 10 90-degree turns during a run) or a very large running circle, which I guess would mean constantly pulling the fixed-wheel stroller to one side - which I assume would be extremely exhausting to my arms.
2) Does anyone recommend a swivel wheel jogging stroller besides the BOB? I was looking a Burley, a Schwin, and Joovy.

(my DD is 2.5 years old)

Thank you!
