BOB instructions say use with car seat adapter from birth on, without car seat adapter starting at 8 weeks, and for jogging after 8 months. The instructions also say no jogging/off-road with car seat adapter because it is a tipping hazard. I would never buy another jogging stroller. But we went for lots of walks before then! I have the bob se and love it. We moved her out of the infant seat at around 4 months...but she still seemed really uncomfortable in the seat so we got a soft insert. I'm loving it so far. We took LO in it from day 1, but used it with our carseat.
