Our girls will be almost exactly 3 years apart (DD1 is Oct 12 and DD2 is due Nov 1). Their very first Christmas together they will get a joint gift- trip to Disney from my parents. I also foresee having them share a swing set once we buy a house or things like that. It makes it easy that their birthdays are close enough together that they could also share a party and get the gift at the same time so it doesn't feel like it "belongs" to one of them more than the other.

We're going to get w train table for both of them from Santa this year. W will only be 9 months old so it's mostly to pre-empt any "that's mine!" fights in the future.

Mine are 2.5 years apart and I'm thinking we will do a joint bday gift next summer of a swing set.
(Never
Ind that baby's birthday is in December). I like the idea of joint since the toddler is very possessive. Hopefully saying this new thing is for both of you will helps teeny bit?

Thinking ahead to Christmas..

My girls are just about two years apart. They play with a lot of the same toys. I feel like anything tagged for one kid will be something the other will like...I also don't want to buy doubles of everything.

Did anyone do more joint gifts than individual gifts, whether from yourself/spouse or Santa?
