I was canning peaches this weekend and read that peach juice can help with constipation as well.
We only drink 100% juice and when we're ready to give M juice I plan to do what @rubies: does along with juicing our own.

She does eat all kinds of fruit, including the p fruits. If it were up to her she would eat nothing but fruit. And she's actually pretty regular, she goes once a day, it's just painful for her and she cries each time.

I've read that juice can actually make them more constipated. Wish I could remember where....

I would join the vote for more fruit purées, or more fruit.

we give LO juice once in awhile, but we always dilute it so that there's more water than juice. maybe the juice will help get her to drink more liquids too because sometimes i worry that my LO is dehydrated from not drinking enough water throughout the day.

do you have a juicer? If you make juice fresh yourself it's a lot healthier and maybe would be better for her??

After LO's crazy 12 day constipation and long hard poop, I started giving her a pouch of happy babies puree'd pears.
She's super regular now (even though we stopped with the pears) and goes 4-6x a day! Mushy poops!

Pear juice or even just really ripe pears to eat help a lot! I give LO ultra diluted apple juice (like, 9 parts water, 1 part juice) in her straw cup every day. I hope your LO feels better soon!

Instead of giving her juice instead add one packet of florastor kids (it is a probiotic) to her cup of milk. Giving my son probiotics helps tremendously for my son.

My LO has had some pretty hard, painful poo's since starting cow's milk so I've been giving her a glass of juice a day. It hasn't really been working, but I don't want to give her more, I don't even like giving her that much. Do you give your LO juice? Any ideas on a healthy kind I can give her to make me feel a little better about it? Or any ideas to help with the hard poo's?
