People actually commented on things about her face and asked if she was needy!!</p> <p>I think people need to leave her alone. Eyelid surgery is crazy common (even for asians here in the states). I know more than ten people who have had it done. Her reason for her eyelid surgery was that her eyes made her look "disinterested, bored and sleepy". Could be true but it could also be that she wanted to look less asian and this is just an excuse. But if she admitted to the nose job...what reason could she come up with? In my culture (and other Asian cultures I'm sure), tons of people, especially women, get nose jobs and eyelid surgery to look less asian and more caucasian. Those pictures are from different years, she's tanned in one/pale in the other, there's a weight difference, and her make-up is done differently.</p> <p>I think people are saying she's brave because she had surgery that changes an ethnic feature. I saw the segment and felt sad &amp; upset for her that she had to deal with a jerky boss who basically said she wasn't going to be on the anchor desk because of her features and not being identifiable to the audience.</p> <p>But it's what Hollywood is like. A lot of Asians get eyelid surgery. A lot of Black people get nose jobs.
