Declan was born yesterday evening. I was scheduled to be induced at 41+2 but contractions started while we were waiting for the call to go intothe hospital. Things were looking good until baby got stuck on my pelvic bone. We tried a vacuum but our stubborn baby wouldn't move so we ended up with a C section. She was five days overdue. I went into labor around 8 last night and delivered at 7:41 this morning. I was able to water birth and awesomely she was born en caul, which was really cool. I feel like I've been hit by a truck, but I'm just so thankful to have gone into labor on my own and to have done it naturally.
