Once he decided it was time though, he came fast - less than 4 hours between starting to time contractions and delivering. My doctor almost didn't get her gloves on!</p> <p>I don't know what I did to have the bad karma to get a cold two days after delivering, but I'm sure sorry about it! Worried I have an ear infection coming on, and of course my pcp is only in the office M-Th. Trying to decide if I should risk a minute clinic type place, but I'm worried about seeing someone someone new and random so immediately post partum.</p> <p> But everything is going great for baby. Breastfeeding is much easier compared to last time. Just wishing for a little more sleep. They are both more hypnosis based, if you're open to that. One of Gabrielle Targett's tracks is affirmation based, but I haven't listened to that one yet. I'll have my fingers crossed for you VBAC. I'm sorry people aren't being more encouraging! Our bodies can do marvelous things and I don't think it's at all unusual for nothing to be happening at this point anyway. I've declined all cervical checks this time, but last time I was still closed at 39 weeks and had my son at 40+1. Have you thought about listening to any meditations or affirmations? </p> <p>@Mrs. J: what a pretty name, and it must have been such a fun surprise! I had felt like this baby was a girl, but after the ultrasound tech made a pretty obvious slip, figure it's probably a boy.
