DD loves her Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo; we just tried DS out in last weekend, and he loves it too! We never bought an exersaucer, since they take up so much room and the kids seem to like the jumperoo just fine.

we had both but liv much prefered the Exersaucer. We had the Baby Einstein Around the World Discovery Center, and she LOVED it. She now, at a year old, has re-discovered how fun it is to walk around the outside of it. That thing got a ton of use.

we had both but charlie preferred the exersaucer. he spent so much time in that thing until he started standing/cruising around 8 months. brand really doesn't matter.... they're all pretty much the same.

olive vastly prefers the jumperoo of course haha. all babies are different. jumperoos and exersaucers are HUGE though! but if you buy used and sell used, they don't use it for more than a couple of months, so if you have the space, sure get both. it's great to have a couple different places to mix it up

@Sammyfab: In my opinion, they're pretty much all the same - they all have the same-ish features (lots of colour, things that rattle, make noise, textures, etc.). I got an Evenflo Babysteps Exercauser . The one I have is last year's model, I guess. They have a newer one.

@Rubies: too funny! My LO still needs help to jump in the jolly jumper but he loves it! Which exersaucer did you get? Or are they all pretty much the same?

We got an exersaucer because LO didn't "get" the jumping action needed for the jumparoo. I borrowed my friend's to see if it would be something LO would like and she just sat in it wondering wtf she was supposed to do. LOL. We got an exersaucer and she loved it. From 4-8 months she played in that thing like it was going out of business. As soon as she learned how to crawl at 8 months, she hated it.

Or both?

LO is just over 4 months. We already have a jolly jumper that hangs in the doorway but I am looking to add more to our baby playground!

Does anyone recommend the jumperoo over the exersaucer or vice versa? Any specific recommendations? I will likely purchase something on kijiji.

Thanks!
