Unsure whether anyone will see this so put it in both threads, but we have returned from hospital (network wouldn't allow access to this site while we were there!). Waters broke at midnight on 3rd July, meconium present so had to start induction, 26 hours of hell later, 9cm dilated little man wouldn't descend the last bit. Ended up in emergency c-section. We both wound up with sepsis (hence prolonged stay), but little one also had blood sugar issues. However, he is here safe and sound and we are so in love with him! I gave birth to a chunky monkey! I gave birth med free to DS1, but For DS2 I ended up with an epidural when I reached 8cm. I delivered an hour after getting the epidural.
