I had no family/help around or daycare options at that point so I went to the courthouse with my then 5-month old and explained my situation. My jury duty got postponed 1 year. </p> <p>I ended up serving jury duty about a year and a half later when I was back to work and DD was in daycare. It was a great experience... I agree with @erwoo. I ticked "nursing mother." Done. I would love to sit on another jury one of these days when I have absolutely nothing to do and no kids to watch.
