Jealous! Ours either always sell out before the public sale (since being a volunteer allows you to shop early) or else they don't have any. </p> <p>But yes! We are in the vicinity of three different JBF sales and we go to each one. It's like a big garage sale, I love it. I love it!! I always put items in to the sale. It costs us $10 to put items in but you get to shop the night before it opens to the public and you get 70% of anything that sells. </p> <p>I've purchased some GREAT deals. I would highly recommend getting a lot of the baby gear from something like this. Things like swings, bouncers, jumpers, exersaucers, high chairs, strollers, and other toys can all be washed easily and you can save usually at least 50% off retail. </p> <p>For us it was a great way to "try" some products. For example we got a Fisher Price swing for $65, a bouncer for $15 and a Bumbo for $15. She ended up loving the swing, ok on the bouncer and hating the bumbo. Since we didn't want to store the items I actually just sold them all back to the sale and got back probably $50. I signed up to volunteer because I'm going to be out of town this weekend and I'm going to miss the public sale. I wanted to scope out the event. </p> <p>I was very impressed. The local JBF event is going to be in this large warehouse. I was tasked with hanging clothes. The prices were amazing. Between $1-$7 for previously used or new clothing. I'm definitely going back to this event when I get pregnant. </p> <p>I was really eyeing the cloth diapers section. I considered stocking up but decided to wait til I was actually pregnant. Plus, I would have a lot of explaining to do if they DH found out.
