@mediagirl: That's really inventive, and boy does she look like she's flying!!
@tinyperson: It's funny when they want to impress people, isn't it? And I love toddler dancing.
@mrs. wagon: *Sigh* That is just completely adorable. Don't ever come visit us because I would get totally taken in by his wiles ;)
@beaker: That's so funny about his eyes. Toddlers are, indeed, ultra random. I think it's part of the charm.

@Mrs. Twine: lol. She sounds serious!

Yesterday DS1 was crying after I put him to bed, and I sent DH to go check him. He apparently asked DH to "take my eyes out," "both of them!" DH said ok, rubbed his eyes, told him to keep them shut, and then he was fine and went to sleep. Toddlers are so random!

Hehe...

This morning Wagon Jr. marched into my room, did not acknowledge me whatsoever, climbed up onto Wagon Sr.'s side of the bed and started jumping on it. I was like "uh, hello?" and he said "is it the weekend?" (read: can I watch tv?) I said "no, it's not the weekend." He paused and then said "mommy, guess what. Can I have a... special.... cayshun (occasion) where I watch tv for a little bit even though it's not the weekend?"

I laughed at him and said no. He whined, "but I really want to!" Again I laughed at him and said "I know buddy, I wish it were the weekend too!! But it's not!"

Then I ordered him to go downstairs and eat breakfast where his daddy and sister were waiting for him. He did so grudgingly.

That's so funny!

On Sunday at church, our 15-month old LO stood up on her chair (we're in one of the back rows) and started smiling and crazily bouncy dancing for the two teenage boys sitting behind us. What a flirt! We could hardly keep from giggling. She would. not. stop. It was almost manic :)

Kids are so funny!!

Last night, we got the biggest kick out of something our 21 month old did. She carried the new stool we got her from Ikea (the really tall plastic one) from the kitchen to the family room. She pushed it up against the couch, made sure it was lined up properly, then she stood up on it and jumped onto the couch! And she didn't do it just once, either. It was hilarious!

At lunch Lorelei held out her hand. "I have a penny," she said, cocking her head to the side. I took my finger and stroked her palm twice. "You don't have a penny!" I said to her. "Your hand is empty." A second or two later we hear, "Hmph. Hmph." Once she is sure she has our attention, she says, "You hurt my feelings, mama." "Oh?" I replied. "How did I hurt your feelings? "'You don't have a penny,' you said." And she had the most hilarious face. Mr. T and I both just about peed our pants. Where does she get this stuff?

What was the most recent thing your child did to make you laugh?
