We didn't get married until after we both graduated, but while dating/engaged I remember how hard it was to plan stuff! We were about 1/2 an hour apart, had opposite schedules, and he didn't have a car, so we would go 2-3 weeks without seeing each other. I know others had it worse, but school make things harder. We do a lot of video games and movie nights too.</p> <p>@ Jenna - Surprise him! We had a blast, and it doesn't have to be big. We've done a night out, or even just dinner and stuff around town. One time I wrote out clues for him (like 5-6) and had him follow the clues to our different activities. On Saturday we had about 10 people over for a small-ish party, but I told him I'd give him his gift from me today. I am picking him up after work and he thinks we're going to the movies, but I am actually taking him to Reno for the weekend, and I bought tickets to see Hairspray. We saw it in theaters, love watching the DVD, and the episode of Glee last night ended with a Hairspray song! He has no idea, but is going to be so excited when he finds out.</p> <p>What are some things you like to do for fun? What are some ways you've surprised your SO? </p>
