I'm just glad that Penelope has so MANY nickname options and none of them really annoy me. I don't love PJ but it seems sort of unlikely she'll go by that anyways with all the other options out there. This is sort of my hangup with Fiona. I love it, but I hate the nicknames (Fi, Fifi, Nona, Noni, etc). And it makes me really hesitate to use it because the chance of her going by SOME nickname seem pretty high. </p> <p>@anandam: lol before we were really talking about it my husband liked to tease me with random names. Like Buck and Trixie. I protested heavily, then sort of bit my tongue later because I realized I did like Beatrix and trixie is sort of adorable when derived from that… haha. It'll be interesting to notice if you have subtle little feelings from one week to the next, like looking forward to the next name versus feeling like you're giving something up by switching... It was so funny. For a week my husband had been telling me to just pick already. He came home Friday and I told him I was pretty set on Penelope June and he was like "Huh." So I brought it up Saturday and he said he's just not quite ready to commit and he wants to live with the top 3 a bit longer. Apparently he'd been calling her Eva all week last week, and we called her that all weekend. This week we're calling her Penelope. Next week we'll call her Fiona. And then we'll see how we both feel after getting used to all three. :)</p> <p>@loveisstrange: I wish I could be that patient but I'm just not.
