The empowering feeling doesn't seem to go away either. My guy is 9 months and we were at a wedding over the weekend. I nursed 2x at a welcome dinner &amp; 2x at the wedding. I felt like such a BAMF. </p> <p>I like the up/down method too, but when it's not possible (like in a dress) I use a scarf or pashmina (or even A&amp;A blanket). My son hates a cover, but is okay if I hold up fabric to "shade" us. But this weekend hubs was trying on shoes in Cole Haan on 5th Avenue and there was not a convenient corner to tuck into so I just threw my cover on and took care of business right there. You couldn't see much of anything and lo was so totally cool with it and ate like a champ. </p> <p>After my mom group, I stopped for lunch and nursed him in the restaurant too! :) </p>
