We love it just sautéed with a little olive oil and Bragg's Liquid Aminos, although sometimes we get fancy with it and do a fried egg over them like Jojogirl above, it's just super good. And always in smoothies, the fruit covers up the kale taste (which I don't mind but some people do).

I love making it into chips and also in smoothies.

I cannot underestimate how much a difference it makes if you get good local kale. I have a had some awful stuff, but good local organic actually tastes sweet.

Lately I've been getting it super fresh from the farmer's market so we just have it in a salad. Otherwise usually in smoothies!

@KelLeeLeee: massaged Kale is awesome. Here's a recipe that is probably one of the best things I've ever tried: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/aarti-sequeira/massaged-kale-salad-recipe.html

Keep in mind I'm not a huge vegetable or salad person but this salad is amazing!

i mean, i don't love it, but it's a different way to get some greens in. :) we add it to smoothies mostly. we also mix it into risotto. DH will put it on his sandwiches instead of lettuce.

I just discovered a way of preparing kale that I am OBSESSED with.

Saute it in tons of olive oil, add smoked paprika and RAISINS! They are sweet enough to balance out the bitter kale. Then fry a couple of eggs super runny and break them on top to get the egg all over the greens. SO GOOD.

I should put this over a whole grain like freekeh or quinoa or something, but I never bother.

Massaged kale salads are really good! If you chop it up really small and add an acidic dressing it makes it less tough. Kale Caesar salads are really good as well!

Spicy Kale chips: coat the kale in sriracha or any type of hot sauce and olive oil and bake until crispy. Yum. Sometimes I don't like them as chips and just bake until they are wilted.

I add kale to my green smoothies sometimes.

I also chop it up and mix it with other veggies, I like to chop of parsnips and carrots in the food processor, sautee half an onion in olive oil and throw in the parsnips/carrots/kale. I also do a chopped kale/brussel sprouts sautee or raw as a salad.

Damn, I eat a lot of kale.

I LOVE KALE. We eat it everyday :)

I eat it at least once a day in a smoothie. My go-to recipe is half kale, half fruit (banana, blueberries, blackberries- whatever we have lying around), with a little Greek yogurt and carrot juice. LO loves it! I also make kale pasta (basically just sautéed onion, garlic, kale, and bell peppers tossed with pasta, olive oil, and parmesan), quinoa with kale, kale soup, kale omelet... I love kale! :) (And I feel like Bubba from Forrest Gump...)
