While she isn't always the most mature when it comes to relationships I also think she is a very kind and genuine person. I think she also realizes she is a role model and many young girls look up to her and she tries to be a positive model in how she dresses, the causes she supports, her messages in her songs about it being ok to be different and letting what others think about you slide off your back etc. For the amount of fame and influence she clearly has I think she does s lot of good with it.
