My LO is 12.5 pounds. That combined with the weight of the carseat have made my arms ache! We use to bring LO in th carseat with us (in the shopping cart) but now I just pit him in the carrier. Is there a baby store around you that carries it? You could try it on? The instructions state you should be able to kiss your baby's forehead when you carry him/her. Majority of the time my LO's head is around my boob area when in it. It's fairly easy once you try it a couple times and I love that it's fast!
