They were great for LO1 who was just over 5 lbs when he got home but LO2 maybe wore them once and he was about 7.5lbs when we got home. I only wore newborn sizes for a week when I was a baby and DH never fit into them. Not having to pull something down over their head is a big plus. Total of 6 onesies.<br /> One package 5-pack of Carter's 3 month side snap (kimono) short-sleeve shirts.</p> <p>I know the side snap shirts are handy when baby first comes home and has the umbilical cord. Shouldn't those shirts be NB size, not 3 months? Based on your experience with Carter's sizing, will the 3 months kimono shirts work?</p> <p>If we exchanged one of the Skip Hop packages I would get the 6 months size, since we have the same pattern already in NB size.</p> <p>TIA </p>
