Our daycare doesn't allow them back until 24 hours after vomiting or diarrhea. I'd probably keep him home if you can afford to miss work. If you can't, your daycare allows him to return, and he seems fine, I'd send him.

Our daycare makes you stay out the day after a throw up incident! Ugh!! If he's acting fine and not sick I think he would be OK to go in.

If he's acting fine I'd take him. But be prepared for a phone call, just in case.

DS got sent home from daycare yesterday because he threw up at snack time after nap, and then simultaneously had diarrhea. (29 months) I thought stomach bug, but I took him home, gave a bath and he's been acting completely normal.

I think the handbook says only fever free 24 hours to keep home. Would you send or keep home?
