I haven't heard of this either. But I tend to make baths as quick as possible when they are newborns, 6 minutes seems long at that age

I've never heard that, but how can it take much longer than that to wash a baby? There's so little of them.

Never heard this. But I don't think baths were very long in the beginning with DD1 and we've only done 2 baths with DD2.

I've never heard that. But when LO was very small I usually got in the bath with her. She loves it and found it really calming. We often nursed in the bath. I just made sure to keep her body mostly submerged in the warm water.

DD loves her bath! I've never heard of that rule. DH or I keep her in there for 10-15 minutes.

I've never heard of that, but we did keep baths pretty short because they didn't love them. As they got older and enjoyed them more, we let them play for longer.

I've never heard that but I'd say that seems accurate. It doesn't take very long and I'm always afraid of a meltdown anyway :)

I've never heard that. However, the actual washing part is very fast...their bodies are so little!

I never heard of that! DD liked baths so I definitely didn't try to speed through them.

Our baths were super short for sure since DD was born in Dec so it was cold! I'd say 5 minutes. It only got longer once she could sit up and we moved her to a sitting tub so she could splash around and play more.

We didn't give long baths when they were very young for the reasons listed above. Now that they are older (2 yrs and 8 months), baths are still only about 10 minutes. That's about my limit for managing two babies in a tub full of water.

I would say I followed this for the most part, not on purpose but she got cold so we were very quick. Now at 8 months I let her splash and play to her little hearts desire #fishie

We didn't follow this rule, per say, but DH did their baths and he did them SO FAST. They screamed so much back then and he just did it as efficiently as possible with no coddling. It was kind of funny because we had a little assembly line process for the two babies. Even now, DH does bath time and he does the actually washing super fast, then the rest of the time is playtime.

I've never heard that! I know with my daughter, baths were short at first because she got cold quickly. But now with my son, he loves the bath so much and is pretty chunky, so he stays warm longer. I'd say baths aren't much longer than about 15 minutes at this point.
