Cardigan. I swear by it. I had a coworker walk in on me once and I was able to cover up before he saw anything. Also wearing a nursing tank helps keep your back and tummy warm.

It is so cold here (WIsconsin), I wear a nursing tank with PJ bottoms and a heavy fleece robe to bed. I keep my legs covered with my blankets.

During the day I wear nursing tanks and zip up fleece or a cardigan.

I have a bathrobe that I wear. This way I pull the tank top up, put the pump pieces into the slits of my nursing bra, and then pull my robe over everything.

Tell your DH that he can legitimately complain about the electric bill once he starts producing milk and feeding LO.

pumping in the middle of the night was the worst! I hated leaving my warm cozy bed. I would also recommend a cardigan. I would also put a blanket on my lap so it kinda coved my tummy.

I would put a blanket over your shoulders for pumping and pull it around you. For nursing, same thing, just with the blanket on top instead of around your back. I love snuggling up with M and putting one of her super soft baby blankets on us.

I would get the chills all the time postpartum. I think all of the hormones were making my body temperature go crazy. I would sit in bed with blankets covering my legs, and I would put multiple cardigans and blankets around my shoulders.

I have a ton of flyaway cardigans now. Easy access to the goods, but keeps shoulders and arms warm. Ones with fold over collars are even better so you can pull it over your decolletage too :) Also very handy for nursing in public without a true cover.

I've turned the thermostat up a few degrees since being home since I'm always half naked either nursing or pumping. DH is already complaining about our electric bill. :-P Any tips on keeping warm?

Hmmm...maybe I'll bust out our space heater ...
