Like, one of the contoured ones that sits on top of a dresser or something? Or he clenches his knees together. </p> <p>We also find that giving a book or something he doesn't usually get to hold helps. The book is especially helpful if he's given a task, like, find the ball in this book... Wish I could say it gets better. But at 22 months, diaper changes are generally awful! What has helped is giving him a special toy to hold, or sometimes singing to him. I would talk to your LO and explain how, although it's fun, it's not nice to kick people, and that they need to stay still for just a few min and then they can get up and jump around (or whatever...
