@PinkElephant: That's totally been me for the last month! Between people buying off registry and hand me downs, I feel like I would go insane if I was shoving stuff into drawers. I need to see everything of each size neatly lined up so I can decide how much of each thing we need and what I can take back!

@MaryM: Thank you - and you're right - even that amazon link isn't "bad", it's just not $1/10 pack, haha :) :)

I have big built in closets in both my older daughters' rooms, so they don't even have dressers - just a few drawers a piece for things like PJs, socks, undies, etc. And to be honest, what I'm looking to hang now is all the shopping for next year that I've done. I feel like if I can see it, it forces my to recognize how bad I've already been and not buy more. :silly:

@PinkElephant: I think my aunt only paid like $2 for the pack of 10-20 she got at goodwill. And I think the ones I saw at HomeGoods were about $5 for 10. So they're not quite as pricey as the adult ones. But do pay attention to size. I've noticed that although they're labeled similarly, there's definitely "baby" hangers and "child" ones. (I've ended up with both)

We don't have a dresser in our baby's room so I've been hanging all the clothes. We've slowly gotten hangers as I've seen them and have nearly a closet full now and the price hasn't been too overwhelming.

@pwnstar: I appreciate that the link you sent me was already pink. :) :) I didn't say it, but that part is kind of a must in a house with three little girls, haha!

@jape14: @ladybee: Thanks - I actually was specifically looking at those online but was having trouble determining if they were actually bigger than the Delta Children's hangers we currently use.

@Mama Bird: @pwnstar: @MaryM: Interesting! I have these in adult size for myself, so will give the kids size a whirl....although I need so many for her (I have had a major Hanna Andersson shopping problem these past few weeks...) the cost might be a little more than I was hoping to spend - but I need to do something! :)

Like @jape14 said, Pillowfort. It was like $3 for a pack. Ours had them in the regular hanger section.

If you don't want velvet, they have kid-sized plastic hangers at Target in the pillowfort section that are larger than the baby/nursery ones.

Was also going to suggest velvet hangers. I always see them at homegoods. And my aunt picked some up for me at goodwill.

@pwnstar: I have the same small velvet covered small hangers and they work great. I got them as a lightning deal on amazon but I’ve also seen them in Marshall’s/ home goods.

@pwnstar: I've been seeing small velvet hangers at local department/discount stores this year. Bought a few, and they're just right for big kid clothes!

Does anyone have a suggestion for kid sized hangers? Something larger than the “baby” or nursery hangers, but not full size adult hangers.

As DD1 moves more solidly into “big girl” sized clothes (5 and 6, as opposed to toddler sizes), I’ve noticed that some of her heavier dresses or sweaters slide off the baby hangers we’ve been using a little too easily end end up on the closet floor. But I don’t want to use adult hangers and give her prettiest clothes weird shoulder bumps, either! Anyone else dealt with this and found a solution?
