We have a different Kidkraft one, we got it last Christmas, DD was about 20 months old. She loved it! She definitely still plays with it a year later.

Our lo got one at age 1 and still uses it at 3.5. I love how well the Kid Kraft one we have has held up! The counter space on that one is to die for. :)

That's a cool one! I like that it has a washer attached to it. I bought a different one but exchanged for a dollhouse instead since we didn't have the space for both at the time.

We have a smaller one and my boys love it. They play with it daily. It took some practicing with it, we would show them pretending to cook things with it, and not long after they "baked" us cookies and cake. My 18 month mostly likes to hide things in the cupboards and slam doors, but they play together around it a lot.

That's a cool one! We have a different version and no small parts. It was hard for him to open do close the doors at first but hats no big deal. Just FYI...plan ahead to spend some hours building. It was no joke!

We got my son the kidcraft one when he was 1.5. He loves it, but honestly, the quality is not great. Granted he is rough, but the faucet snapped off within the first 6 months and more recently the oven door chipped a pretty big chunk off and then came off the hinges completely. I wish I had just gone with a plastic one instead.

We have a similar one by them that is just one straight piece. We got it for Christmas last year, DD was 2. It has been played with everyday since. DS is almost 9 months old and loves to play with it, not sure if it's only because he sees his sister doing it though. I think 18 months is an ok age for it. If it won't bother you if she doesn't play with it right away then I don't see an issue getting it.

We have one, and it's just ok. It looks nice when it's set up but the quality is just ok. We got it when LO turned 2, and it was totally fine developmentally, although he's still not that into it at 3.

We have that exact kitchen! We bought it last year when my DD was 2.5. We really like it. It's pretty nice and we liked that it's bigger and taller than some of the other models (the vintage kitchen is TINY).

Honestly though, I'd wait. My daughter wasn't really interested in legitimately playing with it until after she turned 3.

I am thinking of getting my 18 month old a kitchen for christmas. Maybe this one? http://m.costco.com/KidKraft®-Grand-Gourmet-Corner-Kitchen-with-105pc-Food-Set.product.100212639.html

Moms that have experience with them- are they appropriate for this age or should I wait? Do they have small parts? I see 3 as the recommended age but wasnt sure if that was for safety or just developmentaly. Thanks!!
