This is actually a fear of mine. I'm looking for a new job right now, and I've been thinking I shouldn't mention I have a kid (not that it would necessarily come up, but I could see myself offhandedly saying something) because I worry about how that will affect potential employers' opinions, either consciously or unconsciously. I work high school AND elementary so there is a time difference in the schools.
