Were in Florida, but were very careful to stay out if the sun so it wasn't a huge deal. When they go out for water play in the summer at day care, it's always rash guard and a swim mini for DD and trunks for DS. The rash guard makes life easier since you dont have to work the sunscreen around all the little straps and what not. Also we have a major mosquito problem in tx and the more coverage the better.
