And this morning.... she pats my breasts and says (even though she knows) "what are these?" I say, "my breasts". She touches hers and looks back at me and says, "Mommy, I want to have big breasts like yours when I'm big, big, big."

Considering I have a very small B cup, that made my day. ;-)

Oh these are killing me!

The other day, DD1 was playing at the park with her friend (boy, same age). They were running around playing tag and he fell. He said "wait! I fell down". DD1 said (very matter of factly): "That's too bad, you have to learn to get up some time"

This morning LO (2 1/2) was on my bed with the dog while I was getting dressed. the dog rolled over for belly rubs and she goes "what's that? pointing at his penis. I said "that's darwin's penis" (we've had this conversation before) except this time she responded with "ohh I love penises!"

They had a singer/dancer come to daycare last week, and he was male, but had a ponytail. I asked her about him when she got home (if she had fun, etc.) and she told me he was a boy girl because he had a ponytail :)

I went running last night, I said bye and gave her a kiss. She said "Mommy, I stay here with Daddy. I won't bite, push, or hit him". Haha! Having some issues with other kids in her class doing this, so we always talk in the am about we don't do it back.

My daughter hates clothing. Today I asked her to wear a dress I had picked out. She came over to me, patted me on the cheek, gave me a hug and said, "It's okay Mommy. I'll probably wear that. Sometime."

H always tells her father, "You big boy Daddy. You be okay!" whenever he acts like he's sad about something.

She got a minions valentine card and it's her favorite. It's so cute because she calls them "Cinnamons," and made up a song: "Happy Valentine's Cinnamons!" (sung to the tune of Happy Birthday).

a couple funny things she says (3 eyar old)

"mom can we watch the scary doctor show?"
"Honey, it's not scary the reason mommy says you can't watch it is because it uses naughty words" (nurse Jackie.)
"you mean shit?"

"what did you have for lunch?"
"I refused to eat because June wouldn't give me cookies and she has to realize her actions have consequences."

(I swear I have a future lawyer on my hands, what 3 year old says consequences!)

My LO's cute thing lately is to tell everyone Daddy is at the beach. I'm not sure where he got it from, but at daycare, the teachers will say "mommy has to go to work" as I'm dropping him off and he'll say "yeah, and daddy is at the beach!" Or if we're at home and my husband is out, LO will tell me he's gone to the beach. I'm jealous daddy spends so much time at the beach!

Haha, in reality, DH hasn't been to the beach since our honeymoon (which was long before LO!) but LO and I went to the beach about a year ago.

He was playing with his cars in the kitchen (he likes to "make traffic" with them) and it had been very quiet. Out of no where, in a very deep voice he says "And this is NPR". I just about died!

"You cannot come to Dizzy Wold Aunty M". My sister then pretended to cry, to which C responded :

We have been working hard with DD1 lately on using her listening ears and keeping hands to herself. So almost every day at pick up I will ask her in the car if she had a good day.

Yesterday, it went a little something like this:
DD1: no, I didn't have a good day. I left my listening ears at home. *insertsadface*
Me: oh, where did you leave it?
DD1: in my room! I left it on the ceiling! I have to get it when we get home and put them back on.
Me: oh, OK (trying hard not to laugh). Well, don't forget it tomorrow.
DD1: I won't forget it, mommy. I go home and put my listening ears back on!

What's something your LO said recently that made you chuckle?
