It's not her expertise. Your pictures came out lovely, imo. I love picture 1, 4, and 5 but I always favor photos where people aren't looking at the camera! I agree with a PP that said look at them in a week or two. I didn't like my bridals that much either until a month or two had passed. Then I loved a lot more of them. I am similar in that from a photo shoot I want 1000 photos to choose from, but my husband has talked me down from that ledge, because really, what are you going to do with all of those photos anyway? The good thin is you are getting to know the photographer and you can decide if you are happy with her work or not. Are you doing a newborn package? We are doing a package thay includes maternity, newborn, 6 months and 1 year. I didn't do hair or makeup for either of mine. I also agree with pp who said what would you do with more than 5 pregnant photos anyway? :) I know with our wedding photos, I was super critical of them right after the fact, but went back a few weeks/months later and loved ones that I had previously not liked. So maybe step away from them for a few days/a week and then take another look and see if there are any others that you like! As for the hair and makeup--whatevs, man! I love the first sunset pic, so pretty! Would be amazing blown up big!<br /> The second and last one are great, standard maternity pics. I like the second one a lot and your makeup looks stunning!<br /> The 3rd one I like a lot as well, but I think I have a personal issue with shadows and wish she had used a sun shield.<br /> My e-pic photographer was GREAT about shadows and using sun shields. My actual wedding photog (it was a destination thing) was NOT and I actually was disappointed with a lot of the pics b/c of it. I think it is going to be hard to 100% totally love them when I'm much larger than usual...even if it is for a good cause. I think getting hair/makeup done by a professional was a great idea because even if you might not be totally happy with your body (for example) you know your hair and makeup look great, so that makes the pictures look better in your eyes. Not sure if that helps, but I hope you can look back on the experience as a positive one! </p>
