LO is 2 now. If the teacher is good, it's a great activity. I don't think I would bother until baby is at least old enough to sit, though. We started in the baby class (he was among the oldest, I think it went to 18 mos) and I think all the babies were at least 6 months. Our children's museum has weekly get togethers where they bring toys, have circle time/music and read stories. It's free too.
