The Sands Alive sand is cool, but it's not kinetic sand- it's more doughy and like a cloud (I love it). Kinetic sand is always moving, and feels more like brown sugar that isn't sticky. I just watch him to make sure it doesn't go in his mouth, but he's never really tried. We bought the 2lb tan one and will put it in our own container and buy molds/play-doh toys to use with it. It's literally in this tiny clear plastic thing (shaped like a #8 kindof) and it's filled with the sand. Kindof stocking stuffer sized, no extras. </p> <p>Oh, here it is!
